Each Memorial Day weekend, we honor Alfred Bromelsick who, upon his death in 1950, left his estate to the youth of Douglas County through the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and 4-H. One of these three youth organizations is in charge of the memorial each year, and present a short meaningful memorial program. Members of each group and guests are encouraged to bring flowers from their garden to leave at Mr. Bromelsick’s grave site. The ceremony usually lasts about 15 minutes.
Webelos Graduation Weekend is a May event for new Webelo scouts.
Cub Scout Day Camp is held each June. Cub scouts are encouraged to attend. Boy Scouts & Venturing Scouts are needed to help staff programs.
Family Camp is usually in September and open to all Cub Scout families. 2013 Family Camp flyer
Webelos Woods is a fall campout for Webelos scouts to gain more camping experience as they look forward to Boy Scouts. Boy Scout troops and Venturing crews help with program for the weekend. 2013 Webelos Woods flyer
